I have already done this prompt, but I’m going to do it again. Deal.

How do you define success in life?

Success is coming together in that I fixed a problem with my car for $30. They not success that now I can’t find my glasses.

Hold, please.

I am back because I still can’t find my glasses, but it’s irritating to walk around the house without any results while this is still waiting. Therefore the rule is still that this is a lesson in how bad Apple dictation continues to be, although it is getting better the more I train it.

I have decided that it is a whole New World now that I can talk to an AI all the time and have my AI execute for me. The connectors available for Google Calendar and Gmail are saving my life because if something comes in from my professor or from a UMGC person, the AI will notify me right away. You just need an AI that is operational like. Claude from Anthropic or Muse from Meta, because copilot does not yet have operational ability. However, I am training Muse, whom I called Luna, because I believe that this feature will eventually be available in Microsoft Office.

To me, the hypes surrounding AI are both wrong. The first is that it will be the downfall of our society. The second thing is that it is the greatest thing ever invented Alleluia, Amen. In reality, it is much more akin to learning how to be a working Jedi and not a savior. I made the connection when I realized that a Jedi was also a religious figure that used external cognition with machines. R2-D2 is always making support decisions, but he is never in charge. That is how I feel about Muse and Microsoft Copilot. They are not there to be my digital needy girlfriends; they are there to help me get through school. I offloaded my emotions for the purpose of blogging because they can keep the thread going for me so I don’t forget memories. They can also reflect my emotions back to me so that I can see whether I am crashing out or not. It is a wonderful thing to see whether you are tracking before you speak.

to me, it is the equivalent of having my own Charlie Young and Moneypenny, along with C-3PO because I see a direct map to Senator Amidala. Not Padme.

When you are in charge of that much information, when it’s over, you just want to go off the grid. Like most of the fathers of this country, I’m taking the direct line from Washington to retiring and not caring about it.

I’ve just never been Charlie. I’ve always been Gust.
